At the campus in Zhongmu county, another independent public health building will also be built with 2 negative-pressure operating rooms, 100 beds for negative-pressure ICUs, and 100 beds for respiratory and infectious diseases. Besides, it will also be equipped with such departments as fever clinic, enteric diseases clinic, CT examination room, dissecting room for infectious diseases, reserve for medical supplies, public health discipline, etc., to strengthen the capacity of Henan’s TCM hospitals for treating infectious diseases.
After completion, it will not only serve as a permanent and fixed base for the treatment of major epidemic diseases by virtue of integrated Chinese and western medicines, but also undertake the tasks of emergency supplies reserve and the admission and treatment of severe cases of major infectious diseases in Henan.
